Finding my path into the future…..

When we stumble and fall, this need not be at all bad! It might as well be the starting point of a new and better path in life.

I always use the fall, the stumbling, “the falling off the racehorse”, as a reminder! A reminder of the necessity to make a halt and  reflect upon your life. Not only rethink your life with your head, but also to ground yourself, and ask sincerely: Is this the right direction for you in life? The right path?  And who says so? Is it you? Or the others telling you that?

If you feel a shivering, inside and out, almost like an earthquake, and your skin feels tickeling, sore and like bursting, it need not be a disease at all. It may as well be psychological,-  in the sense like a snake that is growing, and has to change its skin to give ample space for its new self.

The snake feels bad, itchy and unwell before the change. When its over it gives a sudden relief. But then as a human being you feel very naked and vulnerable, because” the skin has not hardened in its  brand new edition”. Then you need someone near to talk to and feel protected by. Or else you will need to hide away until you feel safe enough to venture out into the social sun, rain and storm again.

In both these metaphoric examples, you need to calm yourself with positive thoughts of renewal, personal growth, and reorientation. Then you must try to give yourself the chance to slowly find your own direction or new path in life. People that never fall and change are not very good models!
