The digital world,- virtual reality.

2016 October 23: We live in a digital world. A world of all forms of information. Here are the worst things you can imagine; -incitement to murder, rape, terror and sexual behavior with and abuse of children.defense-large_wdp

And here are also the best, – required rapid information on vital events. Reports of dangerous upcoming natural disasters and terrorism. The daily contact with friends, family and acquaintances, far across country borders. Skyping with grandma in Australia, even though we live in the United States. Face-ing with mom and dad at home in Denmark, or Osaka, when while studying in Paris. screen480x4801-skyping

In between the extremes, the best and the worst there is a lot of useful and interesting information. More useful and better in fact, the longer toward the top of the scale you get.

If we move in the other direction, -from the center to the worst, there’s a lot of garbage. If we continue down the slope in value, we are soon approaching the crap. Here on the limit of our scale we have the worst.

Always online.

With our digital networking platforms, we can be in touch with each other all the time worldwide. Here we can conjure for peace and reconciliation with each other, and discuss difficult issues.

We can also grieve together over sad losses, and support each other when there are local and international disasters. We can date and find our beloved one for life.

We can of course be unfaithful, and seek for sexual partners that create excitement and arousal. In that way, we can create crises and serious divisions. We can also give rise to possible divorces and separation, with broken hearts and unhappy children as result.

If you can not sleep at night, you can take your iPhone or smartPhone, and connect to Spotify to listen to sleep music, nature sounds, tropical rain and wind, or even swimming dolphins.

It seems that there are no limits to how we can use the virtual reality. This versatility is also a big problem! It makes us feel the necessity of always being online, so not to be left behind. At schools in my country many have begun to install shelves where students put down their phones during class. This is done to secure the students more presence there and then,-  in class.

It also applies to nurseries, where parents are asked to shut off phones when they bring and fetch their children. In the evening, there are also more families, that have online free hours for their members, so to be able to meet face to face.

Virtual reality,- information and disinformation.

Today I read in the country’s main conservative newspaper, that information war on the Internet has great political dimensions and implications. The article specially accused our neighbor Russia of spreading so much propaganda that it is impossible to tell what is real and what’s fabricated fiction.programming_code_desktop_960x800_hd-wallpaper-1168547-805x671

It is supposed that Russia in some way is inferior to the EU and the US military. Therefore, Russia will focus more on international hacking and cyber warfare with massive information and knowledge espionage, and disinformation. To confuse and undermine both the EU and US.

This traffic goes in my opinion both ways! The United States is not completely lost when it comes to controlling the Internet! For example, Google knows almost everything about the majority of us worldwide, who are online, messaging. What the CIA and other intelligence organizations are doing here in the West, we should not underestimate.

Online trolls.

A major problem for the social platforms on the web are online trolls. Those are people who bullies, denigrates and ditches personal bloggers who come forward with their opinions and lifestory, or says something that there may be disagreement about!

Worst of all, it has been for supporters of Syrian immigrants and environmentalists. People who put forward most objective information about manmade and harmful environmental pollution, are haunted on the net! Then it’s like the big worldwide organizations of profitable deniers of manmade climate change around the world, are bombarding their pages with obstructive pedantry, unscientific counterarguments and ridicule.

Many have felt persecuted because of this, and bullied and threatened with death. Such cannot be accepted on the open Internet!

Warning!

I suggest an important rule when we read something that is alleged to be scientifically proved or disproved on the net: Who says this? And what economic interests, political ambitions does the persons or organizations that claim this or that have, in a running debate?

Can underlying motives make the representation skewed in some way?  I’ve posted this website without any profit and revenue. Instead, it costs me several thousand crowns to operate it each year.

Nonetheless, I hope that you reading this at any time will ask yourself: Does these pages, these posts with its argumentation belong to the garbage part of the spectrum on the Internet? Or does the presentation in my posts on Psychological Universe tend to represent some of the better parts of this continuum?

Good Luck with both Psychological Universe’s digital reality and the rest of the world’s!

Finding my path into the future…..

When we stumble and fall, this need not be at all bad! It might as well be the starting point of a new and better path in life.

I always use the fall, the stumbling, “the falling off the racehorse”, as a reminder! A reminder of the necessity to make a halt and  reflect upon your life. Not only rethink your life with your head, but also to ground yourself, and ask sincerely: Is this the right direction for you in life? The right path?  And who says so? Is it you? Or the others telling you that?

If you feel a shivering, inside and out, almost like an earthquake, and your skin feels tickeling, sore and like bursting, it need not be a disease at all. It may as well be psychological,-  in the sense like a snake that is growing, and has to change its skin to give ample space for its new self.

The snake feels bad, itchy and unwell before the change. When its over it gives a sudden relief. But then as a human being you feel very naked and vulnerable, because” the skin has not hardened in its  brand new edition”. Then you need someone near to talk to and feel protected by. Or else you will need to hide away until you feel safe enough to venture out into the social sun, rain and storm again.

In both these metaphoric examples, you need to calm yourself with positive thoughts of renewal, personal growth, and reorientation. Then you must try to give yourself the chance to slowly find your own direction or new path in life. People that never fall and change are not very good models!
